Oval Hesson Lane is a new road and not on maps or GPS yet, but if you search Google Maps with our name we are item number 4 with a link to a map.

Thanks to everyone for your participation in the fundraiser. We are very humbled by your contributions and we just know the new curriculum will be a great addition to the center.
We too are slowly making improvements to the center.....some noticeable and some not so noticeable. We are still striving to make improvements to keep Salem Academy one of the most unique centers in Rutherford County.

Every year here in the south panic strikes as soon as snow is mentioned. The groceries are swamped and drivers are horrific. That being said Salem Academy tries to balance your needs with the safety of it's employees, you and the children. Mrs. Jocelyn is registered with WKRN Channel 2 weather and WSMV Channel 4 and watches forecasts closely. During periods of inclement weather she is emailed by WKRN almost hourly. If snow is predicted or falling and she feels there is a hazard she will have us posted on News 2 and Channel 4 WSMV, and will change the Salem Academy answering machine to reflect changes/closings. If something happens during the day the above will occur plus mass emailings and phone calls will be done. Please be patient and as cooperative as possible. We understand most of you absolutely have to be at work, but safety is the main priority. We don't take closing lightly, but as with any weather situation we (or the weather folks) can't always be right. Thanks for your understanding and patience and let's start off this year with a great start. LET IT SNOW!
